Next Sunday (9), the program Viva o Parque, from the Government of Ceará, will have its activities focused on October Rosa. In the Main Tent, teachers Vandik Bastos and Patrícia Almeida will hold a joint class, reinforcing the importance of the basic exam that is done by touching the breasts, showing this care in a different way. The head of the State Department of the Environment (Sema), Artur Bruno, informs that, in addition, there will be blood pressure measurement and a mini-lecture on the subject. “The teams will return their activities to the Pink October. Everyone will receive a pink bow and there will even be a special decoration geared towards this theme”, he added.
The Viva o Parque program takes place in state Conservation Units (UCs), and is a free leisure option for the family. It takes place simultaneously in the Cocó State Park, in the Area of Relevant Ecological Interest (Arie) of Sítio Curió and in the Environmental Protection Area (APA) of the Maranguapinho River. In Caucaia, in the Ceará Botanical State Park. And in Crato, in the Area of Relevant Environmental Interest (Arie) Riacho da Matinha.
Viva o Parque provides people from Ceará with the opportunity to get closer to nature through environmental education activities, sports, leisure and recreation. The program includes yoga, tai chi chuan, biodance, zumba, ballroom dancing, aerobics, massage therapy, slackline, children’s recreation with storytelling, traditional games, workshops, cross kids circuit, trampoline, climbing wall, board games , beach tennis and more.
Visitors to Cocó still have the option of navigating the river that gives the Park its name. There is a boat tour from 8 am to 1 pm. The shortest is 20 minutes, another is one hour and ten minutes and the other is two hours. These last two tours make a 20-minute stop, next to the Sabiaguaba bridge, for a “river bath”. They need prior appointment by phone: (85) 98527.8216.
In Crato, the project has attracted people from all municipalities in Cariri and the highlight of the program is the board games. At Botânico, in addition to all the activities at Viva o Parque, the public prefers the paddle boats on the reflecting pool and the kiosks that provide a great place for a family outing. There are 6 km of trails in the middle of nature. In the APA do Maranguapinho, qualified facilitators with experience in children’s work will coordinate the activities. At ARIE do Bullfinch, there is a lot of music, ballroom dancing, aerobics, zumba, in addition to slackline and popular and children’s games.
